E-meters, We Love to Hate it! [RE-wrenches]

    Sparky was right when he called on you for confirmation.  Now I think I 
know where the problems arise with the E-meter.  My situations have been deep 
discharge cycles without full recharge. And I guess the key to keeping the 
customer happy is to make sure they understand the relationship between 
battery voltage and percentage charge.  The biggest problem is that in the 
above situation, the percent charge readout is often much too optimistic and 
it is easy for the user to get a false sense of security.  I guess the bottom 
line is that the emeter is an excellent voltmeter, accumulating amp meter and 
looks great mounted on the wall.  And it forces the owner to equalize his 
batteries often if he wants the % to mean anything.
