Just for the info, when I spoke with Vanner Power Group at the MREF about
the sell mode inefficiencies, they asked me to email their software tech. I
did, and have heard nothing since. Must run in the industry.

This is pretty close to what I said many months ago. The performance of
the Trace as a grid-tied system AND back up-up/battery based inverter is
very poor. Might be better to use the grid when necessary, and power
loads for the most part from the battery/inverter (LBX).
I don't think we should have to sell two inverters, especially when we
are so close with the SW. If we are going to ignore this inefficiency,
then I believe we need to take a closer look at the Omnion product and
others. Also, how do you propose switching PV to and from a batteryless
ST or SW, while providing DC to the DR or or SW other house inverter?
(Probably better done at the DC level, and bring the "sale" on at a set
voltage level?)? Can an ST be on line, or would we be back to an SW?
I don't have the answers, but it seems like the market is crying out for
an inverter, or system, that will do the job that needs to be done.
