SW again [RE-wrenches]

	A clarification:

	When I said I didn't have any loads connected to the SW, it isn't because
it won't power loads, it's because my primary direct solar AC loads are a
couple of CF lights. The efficiency curve on the SW is really awful at 25
watts, so I use the smaller inverter to provide juice to light my desk. The
SW is fully capable of powering loads from the battery bank when it is off
of the AC line due to no PV.
	Some users, like Todd, have a need to have full backup for their AC loads
and want AC pass through while the inverter/charger is sleeping (SLT mode).
I don't quite understand this myself, as before, why not just let the
inverter supply the loads from the battery? Too much Ah from heavy loads??
	I did some thinking about those three transformers in the SW, the big papa
transformer, the mama transformer, and the little baby transformer, all
connected in series. My hit is that when the inverter is connected to an AC
line, the two free ends of the transformer leads are just applied directly
to the AC line through a relay. Which direction the current flows (into
grid or out), is determined fully by the MOSFET devices on the DC side of
the transformer.
	The interesting thought that formed in my head was what if we simply
disconnected the transformers (internally in the SW), leaving the rest of
the inverter to think it was still grid connected? We'd still have
pass-through, but I'm not sure what the DC side would be trying to do,
charge, invert, or neither. There also is some concern about what happens
when the AC is reconnected without going through a full AC-off cycle. Boom??
	Anybody want to donate an SW to Dr. Sharkenstien's Mad Experiment???
Together we can build a better inverter (or at least scrap box of spare
parts).
