Thanks for your comments.  There are some errors in logic contained in it,
however.  How can one say that non-dealers automatically, "aren't savvy
enough to run a real business"?  I've been running my business for over 20
years, thank you, and I regard it as a real business.  I am licensed,
bonded and insured, I pay my taxes and I have my work inspected.  I am also
working to educate the local inspectors so the inspections are realistic.

I guess all we've proven is that dealer/installers can screw up jobs as
well as those that install only.  By separate e-mail I'll send you a photo
of one of my installations so you may get the idea that a non-dealer can
actually put a decent system in.

My point is no one can prove that the dealer/installer is superior to the
non-dealer installer.  It is simply a matter of case by case.  For the same
reason, any list of installers and dealer/installers can not recommend one
company over another unless all work is inspected by a professional, which
I assume will not be done.  If we create such a list, it has to be all
inclusive without editorial comments or it can't be fair.
