Wrenches and IPP members,
Michael tells me it would be easy to set up a spreadsheet listing on the IPP
web page. Since Ive only heard positve responces, it's a go.
There has been some discussion about qualifications. Here's what I think
should be done. Besides company name, address, contact info, we have a field
for years of experience installing, certification, licensing, or contractor
status. In other words we don't set standards but we do give the potential
customer full information. They are responsible for choosing. We may also
include an IPP disclaimer. In addition we encourage customer feedback. If IPP
gets negative responses about any work done or other practices by our
refferals, then IPP has the option of removing a listing. Of course IPP would
contact both parties seeking resolution first.
I will discuss the wrenchs list in the next IPP column. I also want to run a
display add in the next Homepower. IPP logo with something to the
effect..Need a Wrench
To do the add I need a few new members (thank you to who have newly joined)
and of course any re-ups are welcome.
As a formality I need to run this by the board. What say you Bob O and
Richard?
Understanding that we need to keep this simple ,are there suggestions or
ommisions on my part.
