Referral [RE-wrenches]

Why we are in this subject I'd like to introduce a idea to everyone who is
installing.  What does anyone think about a "RE Wrench Hall".  Most of us
are pretty small.  Many of us are one man shops.  For example, I have two or
three employees most of the time but they are just helpers and really don't
know much about making up battery cables, series/parallel, working around
batteries, etc..  They have a grasp of wiring methods and a safety conscious
but I use them mostly in the lighting retrofit business that I do to pay the
bills.

What if we traveled to help each other install?  

Something like a Union Hall.  Whenever a Union Shop in the Electrical &
Plumbing Industry gets a job bigger than they can handle they grab trained
people from the Hall who know how to bend conduit and thread pipe for
example.  When the job is done these extra workers go back to the hall.

This would relieve us from having to hire and train people constantly.  We
wouldn't have to try to scramble for work in between jobs just to keep our
helpers from quitting for greener pastures which no matter busy you are they
will always find a better job anyway.  It might even be a benefit for local
Wrenches who have no licensing, little hands on experience installing or are
just starting out.

This could be integrated into the Referral list we talking about.  We could
list if we are willing to travel and what specialized equipment we could
bring with us.  Power Wire Pullers, Battery Cable Crimpers, Scaffolding,
Bucket Trucks, Box Trucks, Even RV's to save the hotels.

Small shops wouldn't have to shy away from nice jobs that were a little
bigger or more complex than they could handle or even worse get in over
their head and give us all a black eye.
