Freezer in freezing conditions [RE-wrenches]

Just to add my 2 cents worth...lThat point regarding compressor problems in cold
weather certainly sounds like a valid issue to me though. Like Bob says, a lot
of folks leave their freezers in unheated porches, garages, etc. up here. I've
done it for years, in both NY and New England where I used to live. They always
worked OK...ran a LOT less in winter! As far as any solid scientific info on
this...I have none. Just going by past experience.
