MIXED PANEL ARRAY'S [RE-wrenches]

Steve,
I was wondering about that and its good to hear it confirmed. I still
really like the idea if being able to run the array @ 24 volts and the
batteries @ 12. I was observing this array producing over 5 amps very early
in the morning.
Factory instructions or not the inspectors go by code which goes by the
rating on the back of the panels which I have never observed to allow more
than one module after you apply the 1.56 NEC required de-rate. My memory
says that we did finally determine that you can't parallel modules. It's
sort of a mute point anyway as the only mass produced combiner box on the
market doesn't appear to protect the other sub array's from SSC.
