LA 302's [RE-wrenches]

Seems that someone told me that there was no difference between the DC and
AC, LA302's anybody else heard anything similar?

Since most of my woes were from toasted DR series
inverters, I started just hanging the LA302DC on the
DC end of the inverter.  Green wire to the inverter's
ground lug, pos and neg to the inverter's DC input
terminals.  I haven't used many LA302Rs, except when
there is a long ac run to another building.
