SW4048 giving me grief [RE-wrenches]

Back on the SW inverter problem from Donna and responded to by Steve.  I
really like Steve's caution about cordless tool battery chargers.  Never
thought of it that way, but with inverter cyclying in and out of sleep (I
have seen this happen on may small induction loads), the tool battery
regulator may not operate correctly.  I have a client who has adjusted his
DR's sleep setting to where his cordless shaver won't wake the inverter, but
receives power when another device wakes the Trace.  It has worked well for
him but I could see the possible problem, espically if the inverter is
cycyling as frequently as I have seen some do when connected to small
cordelss chargers. 

On the battery bubbling, I am perhaps confused.  I thought Donna might be
adjusting the HVD of the Trace itself, not the setting that is actually
designed to regulate charging.  I don't have my manual in from of me, but
there is a HVD setting that is set to shut off the Trace if the battery
voltage should exceed design limits for the inverter.  If Donna was changing
this setting while float or bulk settings were left high??  Maybe it would
be good to reset the inverter to factory spec's and reprogram to new, well
thought-out settings.
