Marketing List [RE-wrenches]

Obviously, we have no consensus on whether or not to start another list for the topic of dealer marketing.

While we have only heard from a handful, I think we can count the comments we have as pretty typical for the rest of us. 

Personally, I don't think we are going to have enough traffic for a specialized list for marketing. That topic has already died down somewhat here. But I don't have any monopoly on correctness, just a gut level feeling -- more like a guess.

On the other hand, it can't hurt anything to move marketing discussions to another list. If my guess turns right, the worst that can happen is few or no messages would be posted. Lists are pretty easy to set up. If someone wants to set it up, fine. Just please reach agreement on who will set it up and moderate it. I would be happy to help someone set it up if it is with Topica.

Then post a message here inviting all to join, and at that point I will remove marketing as an acceptable topic here.

If it turns out that any marketing list ends up being bust, then we can close it down and re-add general marketing as an acceptable topic on the RE-Wrenches list.
