Lockable Disconnect. [RE-wrenches]

<x-flowed>A lockable 60A Rainproof Safety Switch should be acceptable. They 
will want access to it at any time, so in a garage that may be locked 
probably won't cut it. I don't think they can REQIRE you to put it 
right next to the meter, but it makes sense from a lineman's point of 
view. (on the other hand, they can probably do whatever they damn 
well please and get away with it) Such is the mindset and clout of a 
monopoly.
The 70A CB that Bob suggests probably won't do. They want something 
designed to switch under load (even though the Trace will have 
disconnected from the grid long ago) and while a CB will do that, it 
ain't what it's intended for.
