<div dir="auto">David, <div dir="auto">I have never used a digital tester. However I have used the Hydrovolt hydrometer (see below) and have found it to be very easy and quick to use and read. In fact, when I first found and used one 20 years ago, I was so taken by it compared to the turkey baster type hydrometer or a refractomerer that I contacted the European manufacturer and bought a case of 90 of them, purchasing them for a fraction of the $40 cost they were selling for at the US supply houses. Now that I haven't sold a system with lead acid batteries in the last 2-3 years, I still have maybe \u2154 of them left. Happy to send one to you (or anyone interested) at cost. Contact me off list if interested. Digital units vary tremendously in price. And I'm wondering how difficult it is to clean/neutralize the chamber where the electrolyte drops go? I need to test multiple cells and get accurate readings on every cell.</div>
