When PG&E went to smart meters they declined (worried about EMF) and have been able to hold on to their old mechanical meter and the old billing.</p><p class="MsoPlainText"> </p><p class="MsoPlainText">Now they want to upgrade to a new system as they are electrifying their home. Does anyone know if they will still be able to hold on to their old meter and old billing? I am guessing not and they just got lucky that PG&E has not forced them to get a new smart meter.
