<div dir="ltr"><div>80% DOD on an AGM battery is pretty aggressive and won't lead to very long battery life. Is that your normal design intended depth of discharge or that just where you the LVDs set to cut out? </div><div><br></div><div>You mention cold. And you are talking about 250 amp/hour and a genasun controller. So a pretty small system. Unless you are planning on somehow climate controlling the battery bank, I think for all practical purposes lithium batteries aren't going to work because they generally aren't rated to charge in the cold. </div><div><br></div><div>I always try to massively oversize my battery banks. The only complaint is the cost. Limited charging rate has sulfating and other chronic undercharging concerns.
