Ideally, the battery would connect to a stationary inverter/charger at the house via a cable/connector. The PV would be permanently mounted also and would be grid-tied for times the battery is not connected. I am thinking this needs to be an AC coupled scenario with a grid-tie inverter that is AC coupled to the battery inverter.
