<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto"><div dir="ltr"></div><div dir="ltr">Hi William</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">You cannot siphon more than 33\u2019 at sea level, less as you go up in elevation. </div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">At 33\u2019 you pull a vacuum and not water. </div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">So no you can\u2019t siphon water over those heights. </div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">You also have another issue which is the suction in the pipe on the downhill leg. It will try to flow out and as no water is filling the pipe it will create a suction and actually collapse the pipe. </div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">You\u2019ll need a air vacuum valve at the top that will allow enough air in to prevent collapse. Just now I am looking at a system pumping to a pond that is lower than the well-head and lower even than the bottom of the well. The 300\u2019 well has the head at 1200\u2019 elevation and pumping to a pond at 800\u2019 elevation. The line goes over a 1500\u2019 ridge.
