I suspect that the only difference is the enclosure, but that is merely speculation. Interestingly, I worked for Tigo nearly a decade ago. Way back then they had just developed the "PV Safe" button, which if I recall was essentially just a software feature. I remember giving a seminar with Brooks in audience - he was very intrigued and said that this side feature was probably more important than any of the other whiz bang stuff that we were trying to promote. I think this was right around the time when RSD was first being discussed. The irony is stinging me now that I was, and I must admit still am, a proponent of finding some way to safely de-energize panels/arrays (just not with a piece of plastic junk). I like what Einstein said "Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience. You need experience to gain wisdom."
