<div dir="auto">Wrenches<div dir="auto">Would you use the gas in your car to run your genny till empty, much the same, l remember talking about this years ago and I do not recommend doing this, I dont know of any utilities that would alo that. I know there's a lot of work going into the standards such as the CCS plug which has J1772 and Quick charge. The Chademo standard came out with V2G built into the standard, but apparently is falling out of favor. I'm a little out of the loop on all of this, but am trying to learn. </div><div><br></div><div>The big question coming to mind that we should all be thinking about is whether permanently installed Energy Storage Systems (ESS) vs V2G makes more sense for our grid tied clients. Clearly there's not a whole lot we can do until products are available on the market. But in the next 5 years? There will be a lot of change. Tesla seems to be sticking with the permanently installed ESS route with their Powerwall system. Ford really let the cat out of the bag with their F150 Lightning announcement.
