I do not use AGS and if my clients want it, they have to sign a waiver on my help for insurance. They are timebombs and I do get why people want them. The stock honda remote start works fine down until it hits freezing or if the altitude gets about 4,000 feet.

No techniques Jay. Honda does know about the cold start issue and has said so publicly. My cold weather folks way up north keep the genset in a shed or room off the garage that keeps the batteries and genset warm 40+F. When they leave in winter for long periods is when the teardrops can fall if they are not careful.

Awesome machine that eu7000i. Hate to say it but when it really is cold, you have to move from propane to diesil. The EU kit for conversion I have used is either Central Maine Diesil or these folks in the screenshot.

However, on the 3 propane honda 7kEU units i've installed them on, they all have the same issue, they don't work when its cold, say 30-45F. The generator won't start on the first and only try that the unit below will do. And the OB only does 1 attempt. I've had to install some added timers so that it will do 2 start attempts, with it usually starting on the second attempt.

Maybe others have found some other technique how to get them to start on the first try.

So much better than Atkinson. Simple, no power drain on the battery, doesn't need to be reset like the Atkins if the generator fails to start, and not glitchy. Just two relays to mimic manual starting procedure and factory connectors. 2-wire start only

I want to set it up to start with an Outback Mate3s and aux relay in a VFXR3648. (2 wire start). Has anyone found a way to do this other than a third party auto start module?
