<p>Unless I am mistaken the new Ampliphi 3.8 is still not closed loop with much other than Solarark. The old line of their batts, well has now been improved but not there yet until they get closed loop done! IMHO.</p>
<p>Until Outback is capable of closed loop BMS into optics and their network I am going to stay with Schneider Discover AES and Fortress. It just is too easy and reliable to me than spend time on open loop power systems. After you try a closed loop system you ask yourself, what are setpoints? Why am I 25% faster charging with a genset. Wow true C1 charging!</p>

<p>Something is wrong with your programming of the monitor! Does the battery make give you parameters to program, they should! This is not normal with what I have seen. Reading state of charge on a monitor that does not have a BMS feeding Soc to it, is for indication only. It is a moveable feast and a PITA! I do not know why Outback has chosen to not partner with battery companies and close the loop for LFP like Schneider has? Anyone know why they will not do this?</p>
<p>Lightning/gensets, and grid power can damage electronics and even though they may still seem to be working, they are damaged.</p>
