<p>That was a good vid. Made me happy that there might be more string inverters again. I kind of miss replacing false tripped AFCI's up here in the mountains. Not a bad job either ! No roof to go up on, up front payment because installers do not want to come up here into the rurals, or they have gone out of business.</p>
<p>Electronics on a roof, including panels never seemed the way to go. Offgrid is a small part of the pie.</p>
<p>Our county is starting to require that the grid ground mounts have less than 4" of height of grass under an array. For offgrid it is bare earth under an array from when it turns brown in late April/May.</p>
<p>The Utility PG & E is installing these webcams up on towers for wildfire warning. They were forced to do something that was proactive for wildfires they start. This shot looking into Yosemite a couple days ago.</p>
