<p><span>Quite a few of my friends and clients are involved in this disaster, now the largest fire in California history. I told many of them of what they can do to clean the air in their space. I hope this is useful to Wrenches!</span></p>
<p><span>Home Depot has the US made (metal case) Lasco box fan. If you tape a MRVE 13 furnace/AC filter on it you can get near hospital quality air. MRVE is filtration rating. I have seen these white filters turn black in 2 days in closed houses. If you cool the home with a mini-split or ?, you will pressurize the home and if it is a sealed home, keep the smoke out. The combo of the box fan and cooling will be good for anyone. We used one in the garage to sleep 15 fireman a few years back.</span><br /><span></span><br /><span>Home Depot also has a mobile app you can order and have items brought out to your vehicle in their parking lot. Please check stock first.</span><br /><br /><span>If you can't get MRVE 13 filters, anything will help above MRVE 8 filtration. A 21" x 21" is actually the perfect size as it will be sucked on by the fan and you do not need to tape it.</span><br /><br /><span>Going back to the Creek fire this PM with a truck full of gensets and 30 gallons of gasoline. </span></p>
