<div dir="ltr">Interesting. We have a small commercial site installed in 2014 with Suniva MVX255-60-5-7B1 modules exhibiting a similar if not the same issue. See attached photos. My understanding is that the MVX series modules were possibly manufactured on a separate line than the OPT series that Carl shared and of course are polycrystalline rather than mono - in other words, totally different cells. I don't know if they shared the same encapsulant assembly materials and procedure. <div><br></div><div>Our site has 70 of these modules, and our technician estimated the 90% of them were showing these issues. They look like static bubbles, not micro cracks. <br>
I\u2019ve seen something like this before. <br>

The static has to do with how the EVA is laid down. <br>
