A DC rated contactor might be better, but where to find either? And what control voltage will the ST or contactor use? I assume its grid-tie if an AHJ is involved.<div>The LG RESU would also require both pos and neg be switched off (ungrounded neg) for code compliance. You are probably best off running the battery leads outside to a 600vdc dp safety switch.
