My cost for Discover AES has come down 5% from a year ago. L16 AGM are still 2 times the cost of L16 flooded which move around in cost normally with the price of lead.

So, I would say LFP is a bit more than 2X flooded with a big however. The comparison is tilted because the 6.65 kwh (useable) AES is being compared with a 400 ah flooded (20kwh & 10kwh useable). Not really fair but the price for LFP is 2X flooded.

I don't buy from Chinese companies. If parts are out of china from NA companies that is OK. I just do not trust a company in China to be there if I need them. Hope this helps. I am doing a Fortress battery system open loop to Schneider next month and I see about the same costing.

I would like to see the LFP price come down in price, I have seen some cheap POS's coming out of China $3800 for a 10kWhr battery but they have very little surge capability so the LBCO shuts down the inverter, Blue Planet seems to be holding on their price, Have not heard anything different from Simplify or the others I know about, you would think competition would drive pricing down but that does not seem to be the case with any real work horse battery only the Chinese piles I see out there.
