<p>Has anyone looked at NEC 2020? Articles 480.7(B) <i>Storage
Batteries</i> and 706.15 (A)<i>Energy Storage Systems</i> both
require an external emergency disconnect for the batteries. That
"may" be what the AHJ is thinking? Off grid design never got to
be so much fun....<br>

Not a knife-blade disco but a low-voltage 'plunger' style
button that shuts down all power (even in backup mode) for

<div>Our AHJ has been forcing us to install gigantic 200A discos
between our ESS and the main service. Tried explaining that
these systems are designed to operate when the power goes out
so the disco is next to useless but... AHJs will be AHJs...</div>

for. Hoping to find a reliable option, with the following
characteristics:</div>
<div> <b>\u2022 Must be Lockable on ON/OFF position<br>
\u2022 Must have a clear indication of ON/OFF position<br>
\u2022 Must be outdoor rated (NEMA 3R or higher)<br>
\u2022 Should observe 12V, 0.1 A ratings</b></div>
