<p>I would also look at if the battery is listed for residential and if homeowners insurance would accept them?</p>
<p>UL 1973 and UL 9540 are typical requirements for the battery as a whole, and not just the cells in a battery. You really want the insurance to be there in a claim. At the minimum, inform the client and get a personal liability waiver for your company.</p>

They have a 48 volt, 5, 7.5 and 10 KW Lipo battery made by Energetech ( China ) . I have a customer that would like to use the product ( low cost ) but it is tough getting any actual info from the company i.e UL Certification paperwork or do the batteries have a BMS. If anyone has any experience with these folks please let me know. Just looking out for my customer and the lack of response and follow up from ECP is making me nervous.
