We inherited a Schneider system recently and have been attempting
to add remote monitoring etc. I have an electrical engineer on my
team with significant com experience. Our opinion to date:

1) The Schneider system is the most complicated, kludgy solution
I've ever encountered with separate boxes and cables running amok
      everywhere: certainly an inelegant solution.

2) The Manuals do not fully cover all of the setup, so Wrench
comments chastising others for contacting Schneider with basic
questions covered in the manual are way off base.

3) Schneider tech support is some of the worst right now: we need
field support when we are on site, instead, we get a call back a
week later. Only SMA's lack of support for the Sunny Islands is
worse. (they don't call back at all....)

4) When we do finally get a call back a week later, they can't
answer any of our questions, and can't seem to forward us to
      anyone who can.

My conclusion:

The entire Schneider SCADA package is way over priced, thrown
together, not fully integrated, over promised, released before it
was ready, and comes with virtually no SCADA support for
installation or trouble shooting after. At least I feel better
      knowing its not just us.

Compare this to something like the Bluetooth enabled SOC
monitoring that comes FREE with LiFe blue batteries, and it tells
me Schneider needs to just hit Delete and start over.

In the 21st century, we have smart phones with apps that connect
automatically, equipment that is actually plug and play, and
software that is so intuitive you don't need the manual, much less
call anyone. As I've said going back to the Outback Mate days,
offgrid solar SCADA is at least a decade behind the rest of the
      world.
