William
Sounds like the inverters are in search not on, have you changed the inverters to on instead of search. Have you considered a hard reset to factory. Also as a POE (process of elimination) I would turn off one of the slaves at a time, even switch over to a different master. I had a 16 kg in Hana that after 2 years started doing that kinda issue, it ended up be programming issues, why? dont know but it can happen. I just did a new mate 3 software update and it scrambled all the utility settings so keep notes of everything that you ever change just in case

Jerry

On Tue, Sep 3, 2019, 6:06 PM William Miller <william@millersolar.com> wrote:

Friends:
The message below never got posted to the Wrenches list. I don't know how
the list works but sometimes there is a quite a delay.

I am still in need of advice. The problem went away mysteriously and then
came back. I can make the problem go away by unplugging the data cable to
inverter 3, but this can't be a permanent fix. Outback has not a clue on
what is going on...

Any help is appreciated. This problem is causing me a headache and a
black-eye....

We have a 3 stack Radian system installed about two years ago. The
customer had some health issues and is just moving into the new home.

Over the weekend the system started strobing the AC output. One or more of
the inverters was clicking and buzzing.

Tech support diagnosed a faulty setting for power save. We adjusted as
recommended but problem persists.

On site, I found the clicking from transfer relays and a pop-buzz from one
or both power units on inverter 3. When I unplugged the data cable to that
inverter the noises stopped.

The inverter data cables are all new about 2 months to resolve the
dreaded firmware mismatch problem. They are not shielded. I tried a new
factory shielded cable on 3 but problem persists.

I have been holding all morning for tech support. BTW pressing 2 for
call-back does not work.

Any help would be appreciated. I am stuck on site until this is
resolved....
