<p>I believe calling at 2 AM your time would help. Once you hit about 8:30 AM EST, you might as well just do the online thing. Often online just takes 10-30 minutes and you get a valid answer (though I was told by a tech today he spent three hours going this route - hopefully that was a one-time occurrence). I am not thrilled with the online approach but it may alleviate some of your headaches. You can find their help chat button in the lower corner when on their support webpage.</p>

<p>I am surprised how poor the service departments are for the majority of inverter manufacturers. I think I would pay an extra $10/inverter for better support when needed. Or a monthly club membership fee.</p>
