<p>Specific to Blue Ion, no I have not heard this but there are cases of LFP going bad on the internet. Can you open the Blue Ion front panel and test for a stronger smell? If so I would start looking at temperature. Compare the different banks? Is the smell there all of the time or during charging?</p>

<p>I haven't heard of any such issue but offered to post his query here. Has anyone else among us heard of a "subtle, slightly rotten smell" from a Blue Ion installation?</p>
