solution turned out to be a software upgrade as Fronius had set parameters
pretty tight. Second turned out to be a very old AC compressor, when it
kicked on it some how triggered the Primo and showed a fault. While I am
not commenting on your Megging, the above issues were
corrected.</FONT></DIV>

meaning ground fault in the array. I disconnect the arrays
from the combiner it measures 400+ corresponding to Voc </FONT>
<DIV><FONT size=4>@ temp. My Fluke multimeter the same about 5 volts to
ground off both ends of the disconnected array. When I connect the
inverter and set into operation I measure a difference of voltage to
ground. The tech support at Fronius says it can't be the
inverter. Is the problem in the array? Or the
inverter?</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=4>If I meg the array, my procedure is to open circuit the
array and connect my negative lead to ground and my positive lead of the
Megger. to the negative lead of the array. please comment on my
megging practice. </FONT></DIV></DIV>
