If the CT on L1 has a voltage reference of L2, <div>then it looks as if the CT's are backwards, but really it is the voltage reference that is backwards. Some </div><div>panels are not intuitive as to which Line corresponds to which side of the bus bar (i.e. the line on the left </div><div>of the top of the main breaker actually connects to the bus bar on the right). Ringing it out is not a good </div><div>way to determine if you have the correct line, you need to check for voltage. If you get 0V, then you are </div><div>looking at the same line. <p> I'm so glad you brought this up, I'm having a very
similar issue backfeeding a utility (PG&E) meter that we
recently started backfeeding on a small commercial job. Somewhat
unique in that its 208/120 SINGLE phase (L-L-N). The inverters
are pushing about 3,000 KWhrs/month to the grid, way more than
typical July consumption at this site but their billing shows
modest consumption.</p>
