          painting mill finish aluminum flashings for one large repeat
          customer, and I can tell you that it doesn't look great. I
          strongly question the long-term efficacy of this practice. But
          the customer is always right... so we do it despite our
          protests. I would refuse for a one-off job. I only do it
          because we have a contract for hundreds of homes and my
          bargaining position is not good.</div>

              <p>A customer has asked that I look into painting the
                exposed parts of the anodized rails on their roof
                mounted system to more closely match the shingles. (New
                construction, we did not know what the shingle color was
                going to be, and I have to say, I did not ask).  Has
                anyone any experience with this?  Thank you for any
