<div dir="ltr">I wonder what is the attempted charge rate? Depending upon the year the Volt can draw 3.3 kW or 6.6 kW the EV charge station will also have an effect. If it is a level one charger 120 Volt input the car will draw 1.5 kW up to 1.9 kW. I have charged a Leaf on a level one charger, about 1.5 kW using a Magnum 4448 PAE no problems. I have a customer with a 20-year-old modified sine wave inverter that has been no issue at all until recently when he arrived from New York City with his Chevy bolt<br><br>
Obviously the Bolt will not tolerate the modified sine wave and we\u2019re discussing upgrading and we were wondering if the magnum inverter charger would work in this situation? <br><br>
Thought that I would check with the knowledge base !<br><br>
