open air won't cure/dry completely for decades. This is why the NEC now
recognizes the Ufer ground for the low impedance connection that it
offers for grounding properties. Unfortunately the high moisture content in
cured concrete inside a pipe will corrode just as much as it will an
unprotected Ufer ground rod embeded in concrete. </FONT></SPAN></DIV>
