MOST of my clients -when I explain that I prefer to use onshore goods which cost a little more- are more than fine with that. Truth is, most of all our (and your) clients are still doing PV for reasons other than -or at least in addition to- cost benefit. If the clients are good with it, why not use an American made product? Silicon Energy (<a href="http://www.silicon-energy.com/">www.silicon-energy.com</a>, a subsidiary of OutBack Power) makes PV modules in WA state and recently got their UL listing. Although they are premium priced for made-in-WA RE incentives, and are different from standard framed modules, they are now available.
