<div>Seems like i remember the early ones had relay based temp switches, might work to wire them like a well pump transformer, put the converter between the relay and the compressor. Disadvantage, it has 2 compressors. You couldput the converter on the side that runs the most, then both can come onwhen the most used unit comes on. Otherwise you would have todo it with 2 units or put up with the parasitic load from the converter.</div>

I am doing a design to completely rebuild/replace an early-90s off-grid 12V system with a new system at 24V. The only DC load is a Sun Frost. I think its an RF16, so dual-compressor. I know of at least three converters: Solar Converters; BZ Products; ICT; and Im sure there are many more. What has worked well, with minimal ghost load? </span></p>
