<DIV style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt;"><DIV>We have installed several off-grid lighting systems at state parks and entrance signs for industrial parks, and all have been operating for years. We used Gel batteries in metal weatherproof box which also included a Morningstar #SL-10L-LVD solar charge controller with adjustable time control. The lights come on at dusk and are programmed off around 2 AM to save battery life. We use ground mounted and sign mounted outdoor flourescent lamps, some systems were 13 watt and some were 32 watt. These are 12 Volt DC ballast fixtures and are easy to find at distributors like AEE Solar. At first we were concerned on one outdoor sign that the single Decca Gel 8G24 battery would not have enough storage to run two 32 watt flourescent fixtures, but it lasted almost 6 years and the old battery we recently replaced is now used in our shop for testing 12 devices.</DIV>
