<DIV style="font-family:Arial, sans-serif; font-size:10pt;"><DIV>We have done several of these conversions due to grid finally reaching&nbsp;a past client's location.&nbsp;&nbsp; These&nbsp;inverters&nbsp;weres still&nbsp;in&nbsp;great shape but failing batteries.&nbsp; </DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Since the client did not want to spend over $2000 to replace a large battery bank now that they had grid power, we usually removed the batteries, replaced the off-grid inverter with a Fronius inverter, and re-worked the combiner box to tie multiple low voltage strings together to up the voltage.&nbsp;&nbsp; </DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>We have allowed a trad-in value for the older inverter(s) which we use for "loaners" when another client has a failure and needs to stay operational for several weeks while their inverter is sent back for repair.&nbsp; We now have a nice collection of different inverters of different voltages that are in great shape and cost us very little.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>However, we also are seeing more interest in battery backup from people who have been on the grid - go figure!</DIV>
