Can anyone technically explain to me why mismatching modules in series affects current output? For example: 80 watt module (4.85 Isc) in series with a 120 watt module ( 7.45 Isc) I've been told that the 120 watt module (7.45 Isc) will perform at 80 watt module current (4.85 Isc) when in series together. Can anyone TECHNICALLY explain to me how this works? I'd like greater understanding of this phenomenon rather than just using this as a rule of thumb.
