Hi everyone, sorry topica still screwing up, but at least it sent the header. So here is the message i tried to send. Hi All It is time the solar industry be honest with itself. Grid tie with battery back up does not do the job of taking care of the batteries. The charge conttroller must talk to the inverter, (I do not know of any set-ups that do this) the batteries should be held at float not at Sell RE. The charge controller can not do its job when the inverter is selling the power out form underneath it. If the battery gets less than float they sulfate over time, if they get more than float they dry out. And at just above float they will consume a lot of energy.
