SW of St. Paul by 45 miles, not in the river valley but not quite to the plains either. Originally land was deciduous forest bordering on wetland. Rolling hill country, our winter winds come from the NW and summer from S or SW. The site I have in mind is an exposed hilltop, gradual hill and smooth terrain with few obstacles. I also am wondering if wind turbines have ever been placed on stave silos.
