Greetings wrenchers!
I could use a little help with a SW4024.
I gave Trace engineering a week, and they have yet to respond. Should
I be surprised?
The
inverter will not exercise the generator. The generator can be started
from the inverter manually. I am on "RY7: COM/NO" . Time of day is
set. Quiet time is set for "00:00/06:00". Exercise period is set
for 7 days. RY7 function is set to "run". Generator is set to
"auto". The generator is a Kohler 8.5 RMY, two-wire start. I
checked on the job 3 weeks after these settings were implemented, and the
generator clock tells me it hasn't run. There are no error lights
lit.
Since asking for help from
Trace, I noticed that 00:00 is a stupid number. Last trip to the job,
I changed the quiet time settings to 23:00/06:00. It hasn't quite been
a week since I changed the settings. Does anyone think that I may have
fixed the problem? And does anyone know when I can expect the inverter to
exercise the generator? How does that timer work? I'll
be going back up to the job next week to look at the time clock on the
generator. Hopefully it'll show another tenth of an hour. If
not, the lady won't pay me, and man, I could sure use the money.
Or what else? Thanks.
