Unfortunately, the SW5548 and the SW+5548 had very different firmware, and I don't think you'll be able to connect them up with a SWI/PAR Kit.</div><div><br></div><div>You might be able to make them a "Magic Stack" for 120/240, but once you lose the generator/grid input, and depending on the loads, the waveforms will drift out of phase, and you could get a backfeed. </div><div><br></div><div>"Magic Stacking" <span class="Asgive ng" style="border-style:none;background:none">was when you wired them in 120/240 and used</span> a generator or grid power to sync the output waveforms. <p>I never liked the original SW5548. It had different firmware and
actually can't surge as much as an SW4048. The 5548 does have a
very heavy transformer, so they would be good for a heavy
continuous load that didn't surge much on startup. They're hard
to put up on a wall. </p>
<p>I don't know anything about the SW+, I had switched to Outback
back then. Did you read in the SW+ manual that it could be
stacked with the SW? Unless they designed that into it, I'm
guessing they wouldn't stack.</p>
