<p>Those relays get cooked when the pass through current gets too
much. I had a situation where a Tesla charger got installed on
the backup loads panel, putting serious amps through the Outback
relays. For whatever reason the breakers didn't trip. Definitely
visible when the relay cooks as Jay mentioned. In my case, the
contact material was blown all over the inside of the clear case,
and the plastic was stained dark with the smoke. </p>
<p>The other possibility with VFXRs is it needs a firmware update.
I had a situation where a VFXR was going offline in the middle of
the day, and taking half the backup loads panel with it. Firmware
finally fixed it, but I too was accused of mis wiring. I LOVE
when Manus blame the installer, and it turns out to be some BS on
their end. That was the one and only VFXR installation I ever
did. </p>
