<div dir="auto">Friends:</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I was pleasantly surprised to get a call-back from Outback with a familiar voice this morning. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">The inverter has been charging to only 52 VDC at no more than 700 watts since new. I had blamed the 3kW portable generator. We installed a new Kohler 12 kW Gen and the problem continued. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I had tried all the suggestions to change re-bulk and re-float and even reset to factory defaults. Nothing helped. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">The OB tech suggested setting the Gen input to Backup and…. problem solved. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I don’t know why but I won’t argue with success. </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Curiously I have another almost identical system that charges just fine on Generator setting. <br clear="all"><div dir="auto"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><br></div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature">If anyone can explain this I’d really like to know. </div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><br>William Miller<br>Miller Solar.com<br>805-438-5600<br><a href="http://www.millersolar.com">www.millersolar.com</a><br></div></div></div>
