I’m
Having trouble figuring out which generator to recommend for someone

It’s for a home backup. No solar.

My friend wants manual start, and either manual or automatic transfer switch. Doesn’t want it to start automatically. It’s in Oregon so not all that cold and low elevation.

About 14kw will do, propane powered.

Is there a specific model/brand recommended. Most seem to be set up for auto start with power outage.
Just wasn’t sure if the ecogen offgrid is the right choice or if there is something else.

Thanks in advance
