<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">It’s a long story, and I have posted previously about it. Yes bad wiring can cause issues, but in my experience we eliminated that. Tech support had me chasing all over for weeks the first time this
came up. Verified every single connection. Found the odd connection that wasn’t perfectly torqued but otherwise wiring was fine. I don’t think they were aware of the issue at that point. They certainly are today.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">The issue with 2.04 firmware manifests while under generator charging. Lights flickering, you can hear the XW groaning really hard, and if you scope it you may see THD very high. Some units it would
charge ok if you could ignore all the light flicker, other units it would charge for a couple minutes then kick the charger out, to repeat.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">One client with a brand new home I did a follow up site visit and upgraded all firmware, before I was aware of this issue. Client called me back a week later – walked into his new, freshly painted
house and it smelled like burned plastic. Client had noticed the lights flickering but let it continue for days before advising. We had to replace his LED light controllers as well as the alarm panel.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-fareast-language:EN-US">Replaced inverter, ensured the 1.11 firmware installed before inverter put into service, and no more issues.
